Why we built this

We were tired of the same story.

It started the same way it probably started for you. A podcast, a YouTube video, someone looking annoyingly good for their age. Cold plunging kept coming up.

So we looked into buying one.

Your options were basically a $200 chest freezer hack with sketchy wiring, or a $4,800 unit marketed at people with home gyms and personal trainers. Nothing in between that made any sense.

We did the ice bath thing for a while. Drag out the bags, wait for it to cool, climb in, warm by minute three. It worked maybe twice a week if we stayed disciplined about it. We weren't.
